I divorced three years ago after a long term marriage. While I'd prefer to meet men the old fashioned way, through work, church and friends, I'm in a position where I don't have the opportunity to meet a lot of new people, which is why I'm on this on-line dating site. Some day I’d like to get married again, but I'm not in a rush.I come from a close knit and loving family who raised me well by *** morals, values faith, and work ethic, and I've been blessed with two wonderful children who have graduated from high school. My son still lives with me during these first couple of years of college, and my daughter is on her own and is fairly self sufficient. I've owned my business as an insurance adjuster for 8 years and I love what I do, but it keeps me busy. I enjoy the beach, motorcycle rides, boating, art shows, cruises, camping, roller coasters, and I'm always willing to try something new. The kids and I will try skydiving in the near future. The newest thing in my life is my discovery of CrossFit. I've never been athletic, but one time is all it took, and I'm addicted. I try to work out 5x a week, and the changes in my body, my eating habits, my energy level, my attitude and my self confidence have amazed me. So what do I find attractive in a man? What am I looking for? A Christian who shares my values. A man who treats me with respect (and that goes both ways), and has old fashioned manners, knows how to laugh, a natural romantic, and is established with a career and home. Faithfulness and honesty is a must (and that also goes both ways). Fitness and fairly healthy eating is part of who I am now so it's important to me that we share this. (although admittedly, I do love chocolate!) And, if you can cook, you get brownie points because I have a tendency to burn things :) And to be perfectly honest, because we all should be on here...I don't do drama, I'm not into mind games, nor do I have the energy or patience to deal with a highly-emotional personality (been there, done that, divorced it). Nor do I want to deal with baggage like psycho ex wives or custody fights. It could be as simple as a walk through an art show or window shopping through a quaint downtown area, or a glass of wine in a little pub with a band, or maybe dinner and drinks. Something that would give us the chance to talk and get to know each other.

I love to laugh and banter, but sometimes life gets in the way of doing that more. I understand a man's love for March Madness, Sunday football, and not asking for directions when lost out on the road.I grew up in a Christian church and got my undergraduate degree at a Christian university. I grew up following the rules and trying endlessly (perhaps legalistically) to please God. Because of that, winding up divorced is something I never saw coming in my life. Through it all, though, Christ's unconditional love and grace has become more real to me than ever before, and that faith is something I would want to have in common with someone I shared my life with. On a less important note, however, I would be hope to find someone who has stayed in shape, values his education and his career during the week, but still knows how to play on the weekend. I would love to find someone with a great sense of humor, tends toward a laid back personality, and understands that with two kids still at home, I’ Beyond that, I would love to be with someone who.....doesn't take themselves too seriously...is able to laugh...and loves to hang the Christmas lights and pound a few nails when needed. Relaxing, casual, and fun...nothing serious.

I love the ocean and I just got back from Vacation in Cali ,Ventra beach I woke up early each of my 7 days I was there and watched the sun rise on the porch of my friends beach house I enjoyed some nice long walks on the beach at sunset. Then joined some people at at a bond fire after dark and made some new friends. Nothing like fresh ocean air and the sun to refresh your body, help clear your mind and make you feel young again. But it also made me aware I was missing something after taking the time to slow down I relized even though I like being alone I don't have anyone to share my memories with and i would have been nice to share my time with my best friend and soulmate I just can't seem to find you! It would depend on who I was going on the date with. But I'm an open person and I enjoy doing many things! So we will discuss it when times comes. But I am not the type to go out with someone I have hardly talked to.If you think your going to get sex on the first date with me keep fishing I'm not your type and I respect my self to much for that.
